Examine your problem, issue, or conflict and determine follower readiness and the leadership style that needs to be used in resolving the situation. Specifically, describe performance readiness, the leadership style, and the power base that drives the style, such that the necessary situational use of the leadership style and power are apparent. Be sure to note sources of power and determine whether the sources need to be developed. Describe how you would attain the necessary power to augment your leadership style and performance readiness to resolve the situation.

Next, apply this information to your problem, issue, or conflict. Describe how the information fits your problem, issue, or conflict and will assist in its resolution. Support your conclusions with well-cited statements.
